Turf
Turf measuring is a simple process and all you are doing is calculating the area on the ground.
Take your time and break the area up into small areas for accuracy. Some examples are below;
Square or RectangleMultiply the width (W) by the height (H). |

CircleMultiply the radius(r) by itself then by 3.14 (pi). |

TriangleMultiply the height (H) by the base width (B) and divide by 2. |

Top Soil
Top Soil measuring calculations are done the same as for the turf area but then multiply the area by the thickness. So if the area is 100m2 and you want to use 50mm of soil you multiple 100 x 0.05 = 5 cubic meters (m³).
